Yeah, he got his old seat back that he held prior to going to the NAACP. He didn't have to spend squat to get it, either. The constituents in that district deserve what they get, which is more of the same decay.

If red flag laws is enough for you to not want an actual conservative, that's your right. Silly hill to die on if you ask me though. If you expect to share beliefs on literally every single subject with a candidate you're going to be sorely disappointed. Reagan did a lot of good for the country and for conservatism at a time it was badly needed, but he still had several positions I am adamantly against.

Ill take a fiscally conservative capitalist if I have to sacrifice red flag laws all day every day.

The reported results from Baltimore, Fulton County, Detroit, Wisconsin, Philadelphia, Clark County, etc. just reinforce my perception for the past decade or so that the Democrats have had widespread machinations to undermine actual elections. No central conspiracy directing it but pockets to manufacture votes they need, suppress votes they don't like, etc. They tried this in 2000 with Gore trying to make up votes in FL to flip the election and executed it in 2008 to get Al Frank the critical 60th Senate seat they needed to push Obamacare past cloture. I think they just got complacent in 2016 or Hillary would have manufactured more votes in Michigan, Wisconsin, Ohio, etc.

They were huffing their own exhaust fumes in 2016. They learned their lesson and actioned on the DOPE for rounds on target this go around.

Anyone that agrees with red flag laws is not an actual conservative.

That said, I thought ole one-eye had backtracked on TAPS and was back in our good graces now?

Yeah, the fix has been in for quite a while.

Basically I think it comes down to this, if we don't see some sort of supernatural event in our favor in the next few days, the Republic is lost. And considering how corrupt The Church in America has become in the last half century, I'm not holding my breath (I don't think God has our back anymore ... or more to the point the nation doesn't have his).

Modern liberalism is based on the idea that reality is obligated to conform to one's beliefs because; "I have the right to believe whatever I want".

Ah, no room for disagreements. Believe all tenants or you can't be conservative. Thats very democratic of you. The democrat party is all about ultimatum and lock step on all issues. If we try to play that game and don't make room for disagreements and discussion, we will lose, every time. I don't like red flag laws, but I think they can be debated and logically shown to be faulty thinking. I don't think, however, we should exclude anyone based solely on that.

Again, was Reagan not conservative due to his views on guns?

Correct. Screw him and the John Wayne-era bullshit he rode in on.
