Given the low pressure, I think I'd opt for a DIY option and going form 1 via either a premade solvent trap or going full autismo and designing one yourself. If you keep it simple can be cheaper than a typical factory can but biggest advantage is usually a fast turn around on a form 1 vs normal filing.

100% agree. I have one on deck that needs to be made, but it's not even on my radar yet so no further info on difficulty. QuietBore sells kits that include a jig so you can do it with a hand drill.

I love my TBAC Takedown 22 on my MKIV.

    FWIW, it's also magnum rated.

    Beat me to it.
My last 22 form 1 can cost me $60 and works great and I had my stamp back in less than 30 days.

Well, technically it cost you $260.

    But I get the point.

Another vote for TBAC 22 Takedown.

I use a AAC Element II (4.1oz) on my 22/45 lite and also own a Silencerco Sparrow SS (6.5oz). I have tested with a TBAC 22 TD (5.9oz). The element was the lightest and quietest. On the 22/45 weight at the muzzle is quite noticeable so personally I would not do a form 1 for that host. Buying today I would get a TBAC TD for the ease of cleaning, good suppression, reasonable weight.

I'll put in a vote for the SilencerCo Sparrow.

    Very, very easy to clean.

It's what I run on my Ruger Mk II with a TacSol barrel (what was required long before Ruger got smart and started offering the lightweight barrels themselves).

YOU are the first responder. Police, fire and medical are SECOND responders.
When seconds count, the police are mere minutes away...
Gun registration is gun confiscation in slow motion.

I don’t see the obsession with how quiet a 22 can is. Even with a cheap homemade can the action is much louder than the report unless you’re not using it on a semiautomatic even then there isn’t much difference.
