Thumbs up Hunting with my AR-15

Just got two new muzzle brakes for my AR and they are awesome. My shot group is tighter and it definitely helped with my follow up shot. I got them from a guy here in colorado. He makes custom brakes and I got one in steel and one in aluminum. They both fired the same but the aluminum is just a lighter weight.

    Just wanted to share.

How many more times do you plan to share this information? I just want to know what to expect. This is three threads so far.

I guess this is it. I think these brakes are great and im sharing that. This guy has a great product. There are thousands of threads on here and you are complaining about my three. If you dont care then dont read it.

    Thanks for your time.

You GOT them from a guy? Or you ARE the guy? because that's what it seems like.

And in all honesty, I'd have alot more respect for a businessman that just came out and said "Hey I'm making some quality muzzle breaks if you guys are interested"

rather than signing up under the guise of a random purchaser who just happened to track down a colorado gun forum and make an account for the sole purpose of plugging some muzzle breaks.

    just my two cents.

I am not the guy. I have tried to build muzzle brakes but I have not succeeded. This guy has a totally legit website and is sponsored by predator sniper styx and some other guys he has on his site. I don't think he would need to come to this forum to advertise his stuff. I hunt with an AR-15 and I hunt coyotes. This is an AR-15 site and a hunting site correct? I am starting to feel extremely unwelcome which is the last thing I expected.

Just say "Buy my Product" and maybe I would look at it. But you're trying too hard, not being up front, and now have pissed me off.

This is called spam. One thread is enough. Everyone browses the site and sees your thread. You don't need to start a new one every time your thread falls down the list. Your threads fall back to older pages because the are no longer of interest to anyone. Continuously posting the same ad is annoying. Even if you continuously bumped your old advertisements for your company, that would be more respectful to the other members of the board.

Default Hunting with my AR 15

My wife is going to start deer hunting with me this year and I was wondering how we both would sit up in a tree without one of those huge 2 man ladder stands . Has anyone tried this before? How do they do it on tv?

Sitting in a tree is not hunting... it is not even sportlike. Planning on throwing corn under the tree too?

Hunting is finding a trail, tracking the product, getting close to product without scaring, and taking said product in a humane way. If you really want to hunt, use only a bow or knife. (Damn redskin [I'm sorry.. NATIVE AMERICAN] friends have ruined me huh... Thanks Yahzee )

Not sitting in a tree, not taking a 800 yard shot from a blind with your ubernew space scope, not fedding the animal to fatten it up before you pet it and shoot it... 6 times because you forget where the heart/lungs/etc were.

But, to answer your question, if you want to sit in a tree without a stand, use a loggers rope.
