The "Buy Now" price disappears once somebody goes over that, which happens. "Buy Now" only works when someone actually uses the "Buy Now" feature. Don't ask me why someone would bid more than the "Buy Now" price but they've done it on my auctions in the past. That whole not paying attention thing, again...

    I looked at a previous auction, 1000 sold for $99.99 + shipping/hazmat.

There is a current auction for Remington 7 1/2 BR small primer, 2000 primers currently at $200.

The question is. Outside (IMO) of these being insane prices. With the potential of them coming down, mid to late 21. How long before they hit a ceiling, price wise ?

The "potential", is wide-open no matter what the electoral college vote is.

The ceiling will be whatever price the buyer is willing to pay. Supply / demand / replacement value all come into play.

Glad to see you italicized potential. I don't see the prices dropping. The very clear statements by the incoming administration about banning online sales of guns, gun parts and ammunition will make it more difficult to purchase.

I foresee them going after ammunition manufacturers as well as gun makers through a combination of taxes and fees, allowing product liability lawsuits to drain the manufacturers' time and money. This will make it very difficult and expensive to obtain insurance for the companies. The government's friends in the banking industry will stop selling loans to them and not allow individuals to make firearm related purchases with their credit cards.

With Vista Outdoors controlling three of the four main primer makers in the country, it will be much easier to slow the production of primers by putting a target on them for Federal and State regulations.

Well someone, we both know told me.
Their ammo shipments have been cut by almost 75%. As in here's what we're allocating, next order may be 1/2 that. Throw in a major ammo & reloading mfg told them. Don't expect ammo and or components to be back till mid 21, if not later. Even ramping up production, the lack of suppliers, due to covid (how convenient, right) reducing manpower for al industries. Will effect supply even more.

If and when that happens. expect to see black powder firearm prices, going over the $500 per mark. For a basic walmart kit gun..

Theres other auctions way cheaper so I'm in agreement with whoever said that auction being boosted by shell accounts.
