Pretty sure that any of us that have used a shop vac in the gun room have experienced this.
Yeppers, right into the fire pit it goes.
Never complain; never explain.
My Feedback
I've caused more damage with a can of varnish and some rags than I have with vacuuming gun powder. Not that it's a good idea, just saying.
Math is tough. Let's go shopping!
At one point, I dumped a double charge into a friend's ashtray.
I got a very nasty text about 2 days later.
I thought it was funny
I once took apart a homemade birdbanger and left it on the workshop counter and forgot about it. It was the launching charge. A few days later I was grinding with the flap disc and saw a flash out of the corner of my eye. My first thought was that I had finally blown out the crappy duplex in my garage, when I realized nothing was even plugged into it. I had just landed a spark right into the 50 grains of blackpowder.
Another member here lit off an entire 8lb jug of powder with welding sparks. I'll let him tell that story if he wants though.
You sir, are a specialist in the art of discovering a welcoming outcome of a particular situation....not a mechanic.
My feedback add 11-12 ish before the great servpocaylpse of 2012
