    Default Flammable much?

I thought about posting this in DYI but that seemed reserved for more practical maters... Anyway I was vacuuming up some sawdust and looked into the machine. What do you know... There's gunpowder in there too. I think I'll finish cleaning up and see what kind of chestnuts I can roast...

Pretty sure that any of us that have used a shop vac in the gun room have experienced this.

    Never complain; never explain.

I've caused more damage with a can of varnish and some rags than I have with vacuuming gun powder. Not that it's a good idea, just saying.
Math is tough. Let's go shopping!

I would like to buy you a beer or three, to hear more of your stories. You've had some interesting experiences.

90% of them could be summed up as 'It seemed like a good idea at the time.'

One of my favorites involves me and several other folks here lying in a ditch trying to cover our heads with steel plates trying to avoid the cross fire.

At one point, I dumped a double charge into a friend's ashtray.

I got a very nasty text about 2 days later.

    I thought it was funny

I once took apart a homemade birdbanger and left it on the workshop counter and forgot about it. It was the launching charge. A few days later I was grinding with the flap disc and saw a flash out of the corner of my eye. My first thought was that I had finally blown out the crappy duplex in my garage, when I realized nothing was even plugged into it. I had just landed a spark right into the 50 grains of blackpowder.

Another member here lit off an entire 8lb jug of powder with welding sparks. I'll let him tell that story if he wants though.

It was a chunk of slag while plasma cutting... in a one car garage with the door 90% of the way closed... 5 minutes before the GF got home and
You sir, are a specialist in the art of discovering a welcoming outcome of a particular situation....not a mechanic.

My feedback add 11-12 ish before the great servpocaylpse of 2012

Oh man, it feels like a never-ending commercial break on a sitcom cliff hanger!!!
