That's terrible. 24 and 94 are getting dense, just wait til the Subaru crowd shows up and fixes things.
Someone call an ambula... oh.

It is terrible to contemplate how few politicians are hanged. - The Cleveland Press, March 1, 1921, GK Chesterton
The damage is on the side that should have been furthest from traffic. It is likely someone slid on the ice and may not have been a case of not getting over. Speed might apply...or the ambulance was on the left side of the road.
If you want peace, prepare for war.
Yep,
DumbAss drivers.
Today, I saw a Police SUV with lights & siren on trying to cross an intersection going EB and 15 jack wads with a SBLT green aarrow fail to yield to the police and kept turning until the NB traffic had a green for over 5 seconds. At least the North blunders yielded because I was at the front of the cue.

My T.P. wheeling and dealing feedback is here.

I (me...not my car) got side-swiped by a drunk on Hwy 74 in Evergreen right in front of Dedisse Park, while arresting another drunk, during the wee hours. I was walking alongside the car I stopped and saw another car coming right for me. I tried to jump on to the trunk of the car I stopped but too late. The rear quarter panel of the 2nd car (it was a Taurus if I recall correctly) clipped me pretty good. Drug me to the front of the stopped car, tore my duty belt off and scattered the stuff on my belt all over the highway. Another deputy found my gun in the road about 30 or 40 yards in front of us. I was a little banged up but didn't seem to be seriously hurt. My guardian angel was working overtime that night...or maybe fell asleep on the job...not sure which.
Fortunately I already had the 1st drunk lady in my car so when the 2nd drunk lady didn't stop I was able to jump in my car and get her stopped just before Bergen Park. She had no clue what happened. I don't recall her BAC but it was well over .2. I had a badly bruised hip, a sprained wrist and a pretty nice gash on my right leg. The S&W 645 I was carrying had some serious road rash and a grip panel was missing. The magazine that was in the gun was gone...never found it.
That was 94, I think. Long before the more stringent current laws were in effect.
So I kinda have a thing for people that don't slow down/move over when passing emergency vehicles.
The upside? The Sheriff's Dept bought me a new P220 to replace my S&W. I bought new grip panels for the 645 and kept that gun for many years. Then I went thru one of my downsizing phases and sold it. Dumbass.

Don't wanna get shot by the police?
"Stop Resisting Arrest!"
Maybe it was just a bad ambulance driver. Looks like she missed the exit and was backing up down the shoulder and peeled it open on a speed limit sign.

That looks like a Wheeled Coach box, and they come apart like that because they're built cheap. 24 hour tough, my ass.
States and counties buy cheap shit like these cars to save money, and this is what you'll see in an accident like that.
