Remington to build handguns...look for 1911 at Shot 2010

Just saw this tonight. I guess it's a good thing. From what I've read Remington has been shopping to purchase an existing handgun company. They've decided to begin handgun production in-house, including the building of a 1911 model that may be in production in Qtr 1, 2010.

Interesting...first an AR, now a 1911.

Not a lot of detail that we would like to have.
Would it be a basic USGI type, all add ons, target or what?
I guess we will have to wait and see.
