Default Gas Station Homicide in Centennial / Arapahoe County

    https://www.thedenverchannel.com/new...ce-store-clerk

    What a piece of shit...

The clerk put cigarettes and money from a cash register into a shopping bag, and as he was handing the bag to the suspect, the suspect shot him,

Responding deputies found the clerk lying on the floor behind the counter with a gunshot wound to his left abdomen when they arrived.

The clerk who was shot was taken to an area hospital, where he died in surgery,

This happened at 6:47 pm near Quebec and County Line, not exactly the hood.

Please Regressives, tell me again why people shouldn't carry a weapon to protect themselves?

Don't disagree with you on being armed for self defense. I think these convenance stores should not be allowed to stop their employees from being armed.

As for the shooting...kinda sounds like the robber let his Adrenalin get control and loosed a round unintentionally. Either way...their life is basically over if they get caught. I do hope the police find them.

Yet the anti-2a folks love to say "if you just comply with the criminal, then there is no need to defend yourself"

Someone pulls a gun on me, I will always assume they intend to use it.

He was conscious at the time and able to tell deputies the suspect was wearing a mask, but little else, the sheriff’s office said.
At least the scumbag doesn't want to kill grandma.

Yes- I got my first Homak RSC there while in high school in the early 90's. I just found some old .22 LR I had stashed away with "Denver Sports" price stickers.

This event definitely highlights the "anywhere and anytime" nature of violent crime. Just before 7 pm on Thanksgiving just down the road from the second uppitiest mall in Denver Metro?

A few months back armed robber(s) hit the Shell station @ Arapahoe and University, fortunately the clerk wasn't seriously hurt. A few weeks prior to that the Shell station at University and Orchard was also hit, no injuries to the clerk.

Old saying is that the mice go where the cheese is. These 3 locations have multiple ways to quickly get away, hopefully someone will drop a dime on the pos to lead to his/their capture or whatever.
