    Default Fireworks Saturday December 19

Watched 2 fireworks shows from 7:00 PM for about 1/2 hour over Highlands Ranch and Parker.
Google searched and found an article in the Hub (not the one distributed in Jefferson County)
Douglas County Board of Commissioners approved the 2 shows as a high altitude celebration for the end of 2020.
Were these fireworks left over from the cancelled July 4th displays?

I had heard about it on a COVID update call last week. We drove up to Mountain Vista a little before 7pm and had a great view of one show . . . and partial view of the other. The wind was blowing away from us, so you couldn't really hear the kabooms very well. But it was pretty cool. Might have been 30 or 40 other cars up there. I think a ton of people didn't know about it in advance.
