    Default Art predicting reality

I realized I got Peacock TV with my Xfinity package and just started rewatching “Sliders”. I‘d forgotten how good it was. Season 1 Episode 1 made fun of Socialist mentalities and Season 1 Episode 3 has San Francisco experiencing a virulent pandemic with associated paranoia and totalitarian measures.

I always liked that show. Might have to buy the series and rip it so I can watch it when I travel.

"Sliders", "Quantum Leap", the first 8 seasons of "Stargate SG-1" ... when science fiction on television could be good and not just a "vehicle" for an agenda ...

I’ve been watching Sliders on Peacock too. Peacock has a lot of shows behind their paywall, but I was pleased to see Sliders was free. I was more surprised to find that they aged reasonably well!

There were a few episodes of Black Mirror that were stunningly well written and acted. A lot of filler, but a few real gems in the mix. If you haven’t seen in, give it a try.

I think Kazoo suggested Sliders to me, but I stopped watching because it was way too woke. Perhaps I didn't give it a chance.

There’s some of that, yep. Even back in 1995 Hollywood was openly anti 2’nd.

I think I only got about 3 episodes in, so I didn't go the distance.
