How much is it per month? I keep seeing "Try free for 7 days," but not an actual price.

I just set my phone up so that calls from any number that isn?t specifically in my contacts don?t even ring. They go straight to voicemail. If I miss the unknown call and there is no voicemail then I block that number and it can never get through to my phone again.

If my phone actually rings, I know it?s someone I know.

I don't even answer when I actually know the caller. If they're not in my contacts, definitely not answering.
There's a fine line between cuddling and holding someone down so they can't get away.

I pick them all up. I don’t have all the Dr’s, school numbers, teachers numbers, etc, programmed into my contacts. A surprisingly large percentage of my mystery calls are legitimate business,

ANI spoofing is easy to do, and easy to recognize. Anything coming in with a leading + on the number is coming from a soft phone. 99% of those are spam. But even some of those are legitimate business for me.

Answer some of them, but most I don't. I hang up pretty quickly and then block the number. There really isn't any effective way from stopping the calls completely.

The Federal Trade Commission keeps a database on scam numbers. They will sometimes send referrals out for really truly egregious cases, but the FTC has very limited juice.

Turn the ringer off. Check for msgs. when convenient.

I don't know why/how they rang through since my phone was in DND mode, but MF'ers called my cell at 0117 this morning, and immediately also rang my home number.

Thanks, I paid something like $4.50 a few weeks ago to look up a number and it was a total dead end.

Say that again in an Italian accent and chuckle ironically.
