A live NBC feed covering this with the caption, "Law enforcement begins to clear rioters from capitol".
Rioters?
All the shenanigans this summer were called "mostly peaceful protests". Never heard the "R" word.
New administration, new rules.
Should be an interesting two years ahead.
I'm a firm believer in the principal that any protest action that fuck's up someone else's day is a criminal act. Whether that is blocking traffic or cosplaying a barbarian in congressional chambers.

Protestors has to be BLM or antifa, because they are the ones who cause civil unrest and riot.

That is how the admittedly few sources I have read are reporting this. Trump told them to pillage and they did.
I am new to this story and will give it a few days to figure out what went on. I did hear a woman was shot and died later but do not know the details.
Plus, I am fed up with politics in general so I am going to go take Popcorn for a nice, quiet walk in the park.
She can't wait!
The woman that was shot in the Capitol Building has died. So sad.
