If you want peace, prepare for war.
In other words, the town told their taxpayers to tell the state to GTFO. Too bad the state will do whatever the hell they want.
My brother, in another state, had a warning delivered to his cafe/coffee shop to cease their non-enforcement of masks.
The cop showed up without a mask.

My bro lives in Loveland. I have to ask him the latest. There were like 80 businesses there that were ignoring the latest restrictions and last I heard, there were no repercussions. That may have changed.
How ridiculous would the state look if they rounded up 80 business owners or start raiding these places and start mass-ticketing patrons. Re-election time would be interesting.
Up in NAZ, people either do, or do not wear a mask. Even with a PLEASE WEAR A MASK IN OUR STORE, signs plastered everywhere.
The flip side. Down in the valley, yesterday. A lot of stores (mostly deli's and bakeries) Had.. PLEASE WEAR A MASK. HELP US KEEP FROM BEING SHUT DOWN....AGAIN

I am very disturbed at how pussified El Paso county has been during this shitshow.
I am not smart enough to edit the "title"

Altus issued a mask order. But there are so many exceptions, it doesn't have a lot of teeth. Outside of Altus, in the small towns like where I live, I'm not even sure most people have heard of COVID. Down in Vernon, TX, it's about 50/50 wearers/non-wearers, and seems to be the case in most of the north Texas towns.
