Default Rare Breed Forced Reset Trigger

Has anyone got their hands on a rare breed trigger? Any reviews how well they function

Does anyone know what the waitlist time is like?

It seems like an interesting trigger and fun.

But I had a couple of thoughts.

    1. I wouldn't spend gunbroker prices on one. Even the $380 is maybe high. I look at the trigger as a "disposable item." Although what they they claim says it is within the law of a semi-auto, it is an opinion away from the ATF "determining" it is a machine gun and telling people to turn them in. So the money spent, in my mind, is just throw away money for when the ATF says no more.
    2. Colorado might try and ban binary / forced reset / any trigger that make semi-auto "fire faster." This goes with item 1.. throw away money.
    3. The Rare Breed doesnt seem to have a non-forced reset position. Could result in a lot of double taps.
    4. Inside a range (even outdoor) people would probably be left alone, but imagine trying to explain to average cop if you are out shooting in the woods and people call police about a machine gun.. why it is not a machine gun.. It is like the "2A audits" where people film carrying an AR15 pistol and police dont really know the difference between AR15 pistol with a brace and a rifle. Some ranges may not allow this "rapid fire" semi-auto.

But I am glad people are coming up with creative solutions...

I saw one for sale on gunbroker the other day. The bid was over $800 with several days left on the auction. I assume the wait is quite lengthy.

There may, or may not be a few of them at the local range. They work well, but a quick learning curve gets you up and running. Interesting unit and fairly well thought out. IIRC one of the shooters said it's a 3-5 month back order, atm

With that said. IMO EVERYTHING is an opinion away, by the ATf , from being banned. Or made illegal. without "paying" that $200 fee.
    Which, let's be honest here.

That's all any fed agency cares about, is their revenue

I have no idea how accurate this video is as I hadn't even heard of this before this post. But oddly right after I finished reading this post I saw this in my recommended videos on youtube. Hope it helps.

    Damn. 3 to 5 months

When did they order? I thought they were released around mid- december?

I wouldn't $200 per item is enough to really get them excited about revenue. That is only about 3 hours of one persons fully burdened salary. I would bet that at $200 ATF actually loses money (I shouldnt say that too loud)

    Really? They hiring.

Anyway. 5 people ordered them the day they say what ever on a web site. Took 2 weeks from placing order, to delivery.

Another of their friends ordered it the week those guys were out shooting. His took 1 week to delivery.

it's interesting to shoot. But what i find humorous is. Those guys and gal get more excited shooting my suppressed AK and lever guns.

Why do they get more excited about them? Just something different?

The problem with full-auto or very fast magazine dumps of semi auto.... ammo cost and ammo availability.

Even just doing 22LR mag dumps, it is hard to find replacement ammo...and reloading.. yes its cheaper.... but bullets/powder/primers are gone....

But the RB trigger looks like fun for some use or another...not sure what that is, but often usefulness and fun can be mutually exclusive....

I am talking about fully burdened salary. Salary. Taxes. Insurance. Unemployment. Then add in the office space they use, heat, computer. Toilet paper. Etc.

Rule of thumb, fully burdened cost is 2 to 2.5X the persons "salary"

So a $20/hr employee cost the employer $40 to $50 per hour in total cost.

I know for every position at where I work what the direct cost (salary + direct benefits to employee) and fully burdened are. For lower paid positions the benefits are a higher percentage of salary than for higher paid positions. As an example a $20/hr employee health insurance costs the same as a $50/hr employee. So as a percentage the lower paid employee is more than double.

I know there's ammo shortage issues. but for some reason these guys showed up with a 5 gal bucket of ammo.

I "think" they have too much money and a bit short, on long range planning. But hey it's their guns n ammo, who cares.
