I figured, but thought I'd mention. Just did a water loss today where the tenant moved out on Thursday, and to "save money" turned the thermostat down to.....45F!

Wow.
I have space heaters set to come on at 65 in case my furnace fails to kick on (it had a bad run for a while until I smacked one of the pressure switches with a screwdriver in anger). Below 50, and I'd be moving the animals out and draining the pipes to the lowest level just in case.
