It wasn't exactly a retraction, more like a stealth correction.
It was an awful event but that doesn't excuse the grossly inaccurate coverage. I think a 9/11-style commission to investigate is probably a good idea at this point....

I was his personal driver back in the mid to late 90’s when he was a Full Bird Colonel at Fort Stewart’s 1st Brigade. He was a good guy, enjoyed working for him and an outstanding leader. Don’t know why happened to him the past few years. What a shame. No fan of Trump and claimed he didn’t care much for brown people when referring to Puerto Rico.
I’m curious to see what he would find and report or if he would be honest at least.

My thoughts: a lot of the flag level retirees sell their soul to the DC bubble - it?s tied to power, prestige and money for their post military career.

My fist encounter with Honore was in ?95 when he was a 1-star at Ft Hood. Total jack wagon for no good reason - that has stuck with me to this day.
