We are lower than Mtneer, and have depth measurements all over the place. My truck topper, which is open to the elements and has low thermal capacity, shows 14.5", but you can tell it has already auto compacted quite a bit. We had significant pre-snow moisture, which is also helpful for the water situation.

Self clearing traction weight. If you can go fast enough to blow it off, you don’t need it anymore.......

Damn snow ! Spent more than just a little bit of time clearing my driveway & sidewalk, also elderly lady next door. Now that I am done, there’s another 4” on them.....

We've got about a foot here in COS, drifting against the house to about 2.5-3 feet in places. I did the first run of the snowblower at 1030 this morning and it was extremely wet and heavy, my little single-stage honda was struggling to move it. I'll do another run tonight after dinner and then again in the morning if it keeps coming down. Good stuff, I hope it keeps falling like this, we need the moisture.

My deck is about 3.5’ above grade. The snow is level with it.Click image for larger version.

can one of the mods rotate that image please?

Getting out of the ‘hood may be a challenge in the morning- the only road out currently has 2 trees down on it.

More wind than snow in my area of the Springs. I've shoveled the driveway 3 times but I think total accumulation at my house has been around 5 or 6 inches.

I got out this morning to see if I could make it to the county road, and did. Then went to my neighbors to feed their horses for them, he just had knee surgery and can't hardly walk yet. Seemed like the snow was about 12" on the flat and the drifts weren't enough to stick the Tacoma. Not a chance to get out now. The storm decided to blizzard us for a few hours now, and the 'ol tractor and snow blower are going to get a workout in the morning. Yeehaw...at least we're got some much needed moisture.
Laws aren't "preventable" measures. IOW, more gun laws won't stop mass shootings.
