Default Learned What Happens Armed Around A Member of Congress

Interesting night last night. I was on my way to Spring Break vacation. I was driving to Moab. Was supposed to be going today but weather reports had snow over the high country today so rolled late afternoon and decided would over night in Grand Junction. Well road trip to go off roaring means I had a CCW. I needed to make sure I followed the governors orders and ate meat. So I made my kid wait until 8pm to eat when we could get to rifle.

I happen upon a restaurant that looked good and had meat. Wait, maybe it wasn?t a mistake that I went to Shooters.

Well I ordered my food and was having an ice tea, while having a Sig on me. Next thing I know Congresswoman Boebert walks over to the the table. Somehow she was within 10 feet of us and we were chatting. Nothing happened.

But I asked asked her how the news media gets her gun wrong. They are always saying she has a Glock19.

That is not correct. It is a 26. She mentioned that is how accurate all reporting is on her and how many lies they tell.

I had the burger with prime rib. Excellent.

My kid had the sirloin and she said best steak she has ever had and the first time she has ever eaten all the steak. She said the steak was better than the filet she had in Cherry Creek with lobster butter.

The Congresswoman was a really nice, genuine person. And the restaurant awesome too.

Good place to eat and the scenery is nice. I always try to stop there. Glad you got to meet her.

Yes. Food was great and really good value.

My kid wants lunch there on the way back from Moab. It is rare that a teenager plans lunch for a week out...

Yup, always grab a meal at Shooters when I’m in the area. Last time was just under 2 years ago on a little mc trip around the state. Excellent food.

I enjoy that place, and the people there, every time I go that way.
