Last time I checked, Jihadis were not shy about saying why they do what they do.

If this guy was screaming "aloha snackbar" while he shot people that would be one thing, but I haven't heard such reports.

That is an interesting comparison to the massage parlor shooter, who had every aspect of his background, family and church dissected by the national media in the subsequent week following the event.

All of that appears to be "off-limits" to any hard scrutiny in the Boulder case, with just occasional sympathetic references.

You can already tell any coverage of the trial in this case will pale in comparison to James Holmes.

I thought I heard that at the start, but not much since. I do know I was hearing that he was indeed self-radicalized, followed other jihadis, etc.

Like I said, I heard the report on Fox 31 News the night of the shooting.
Using Google search, this link is close to what I remember from their report.
I have not heard any confirmation or correction of the story.
That is why I asked.
