    Default Police activity this morning?

So, coming around E470 near DIA this morning there was a procession of police vehicles (lights on but in no hurry) heading north. Looked like about a hundred or more of them.

Anyone know what this was about?

First I thought it was maybe the funeral for the officer killed in the King Soopers tragedy but didn?t that already take place?

There is some sort of memorial today for Officer Talley.

Today is his funeral and procession. Services are at 11am at Flatirons Church in Lafayette.
The procession, LE and Fire presence will be overwhelming.

It was overwhelming. They had police directing traffic at every major interchange for the procession. I first thought there was a big accident at 287 & baseline, near where I live. Was a Denver cop at the King Soopers there who I talked to for a few minutes. Gave my condolences.

I watched the funeral on TV. Was good to see the support and inside of my old church again. Haven’t been there in over a year.
