Used to love Conways Red Top in Colorado Springs. If you were hungry you could get a whole hamburger (size of a plate).

I went to SF around 2007. I went there on a Job Interview. One day later, one of my CO friend went to SF for a planned vacation with her friend. We decide to meet in SF and tour around the town. Ended up eating In-n-Out for LUNCH and DINNER.

She wanted to eat it twice.

Loved that place!! My father, brother, and myself went for one last burger on their last day open, was actually quite sad, we grew up going to Conway's, and I recall the commercials quite well.

Best burger I?ve ever had was from Willy Ray?s BBQ in Beaumont, TX.

Pretty sure they aren?t around anymore but they smoked their burgers and they were absolutely delicious. If memory serves me the burger and fries were like $5.

Never tried the BBQ but grabbing a burger for lunch was hard to beat.

I am sad that I never went there. I was living in V7 and they were convenient but I couldn't bring myself to get even half a burger that big.

For the folks in or around Pueblo, there is a little Mexican food joint off of Santa Fe called "Taco Casa", out by Blende that we would also go to, and they (surprisingly) make a burger very similar to Red Top, not sure if they are still around as it's been years since I've been.

We used to get RedTop Burgers after playing hockey at the Broadmoor.
    Feeling old after that sentence...

Good times cost more, but puts all the transplant chains to shame as far a quality and taste.
