Default MLB Moves All Star Game from ATL to DEN

Because of the new "racist" voting law in Georgia, the MLB has moved the All-Star game to Coors Field. This will certainly mean a large revenue boost to DEN and surrounding hospitality (restaurants, bars, hotels,...) while a large revenue loss for ATL. How do you feel about that? Does it change how you view MLB?

Speaking only for myself, I'm done with any/all forms of watching MLB, MLB pools, etc. Just because the all star game is "here", I feel no desire to watch it or attend. Several companies have also come out against the election law such as Delta airlines, Koka-Kola, and Paypal. I had 2 Paypal accounts and closed them both, explaining to their customer service people that I don't do business with woke aholes and they are just a payment processor and shouldn't be taking political sides. Oh well. Seems like the list of companies I will not do business with is almost as long as the list of companies I will patronize these days.

I am done with the MLB and most all pro sports these days. Support your local High School Teams...

This is a sad state of affairs, it almost seems the Left has decided to punish Red States by opening the border and creating a mess, taking business opportunities and moving them based off politics, and calling everyone and everything "racist" if you don't agree with them. Horrible - this tit for tat will turn into something worse...

I'm fine with private business doing as they wish. I have a problem with any and all tax payer resources promoting/hosting/facilitating and event to benefit a billionaire owner and millionaire employees. They should be able to pay for private security, rent road closures, permits, ect. Zero tax payer resources should be wasted on these.

I also find it funny that MLB move the game to a state with more restrictive voting requirements than the state it left.

If this event is allowed full capacity while other venues in the area remain restricted, it hope it shows the sheep that politicians are even more corrupt than they believe and the rona lockdown were about control not science.

We should start pooling them from the burbs to the downtown and the stadium districts. Plenty of empty unused lots for broken down rvs, tents, cardboard boxes, ect. Make the optics of removing the trash very painful for the city. I have also seen post on fb and twatter gearing up for anti capitalism riots around the baseball stadium.

I would hate to be a resident around the stadium.

First season (2019/2020) in decades I haven't watched at least some NBA, NFL, or MLB. Sports were only enjoyable when politics weren't on display. You cam keep your sports, I've developed other interests.

There was an audio clip (I don't know who was speaking) on the Rush Limbaugh show this morning that said Colorado's existing voting laws are actually more restrictive than the one just passed in Georgia.
