Can you fit a 6 foot step ladder inside of one?

The only dimensions I can find say the cargo area with the rear seats down is 42 wide and 55 long. That is 69 diagonal and my ladder is 73 folded.

Has anyone been able to put something that long inside the car?

If your ladder folds to less than 8 in width it can extend between front seats.

I've fit 2 x10" x8ft in my impreza with the front seat reclined and a ladder that is 6.5ft by 2.5ft folded in it.

Current gen xtrek and impreza are about the same size inside

Are you carrying a passenger? You could always lay the passenger seat flat and extend the ladder up into the right front seat area.
