They’ve been boning APD for years. I’m still not sure how anyone is a police officer anymore. Better people than me? Or maybe just need the money and pension they’ve worked for more than me.
If (when) Chauvin gets railroaded, I expect to see massive waves of officers "Going Galt".
Can't say I blame 'em.

Any good cop in a deep blue city that doesn’t feel like they belong there, doesn’t. They can find work in the burbs or rural areas and live a much more peaceful life. Notice I said “good”, not all.

This should be a strong message to other Dem/Lib controlled Cities and States that put up with these snowflake riot bums and condemn the peace-keepers.
I think the people in New Mexico will remember this next election. Bold move and I wish the best for these guys!
The deck is stacked against them. They're sent into harms way, and even if they're fighting for their own survival, they have the possibility that they'll be sent to prison for it. Let the cities that want to defund the police experience the chaos that they've created.

APD said the resignations won’t impact crowd control operations in the future. They also reiterated that the officers who resigned from the ERT did not resign from being an officer at the department.
So they just resigned from riot patrol?

Agree with the sentiments about the folks still doing the job and how they're treated. However regarding the APD situation in particular since when does the PD decide to charge someone? I thought it was up to the district attorney/city attorney to file charges, or is just (another) poorly written report?
