Wouldn't surprise me. We get them from a long favorite meat shop in Wheat Ridge.

I found the picture I took of the pie because I wanted to remember the brand. Definitely The Village Pie Maker.

Yep. That's them.
They put out a good, consistent product. Didn't know they carried then at Costco.
Thanks.

Correction, it was King Soopers.
Are we all just glossing over the fact that the Village Perkins was turned into a gun store?
Yep, there is good and bad associated with frozen pies....for the most part frozen pies will make it home without too much of it eaten. Brain freeze is the real big down side.
Now the take and bake means I have like bake it....
Yep - the Village Inn did turn into a gun store I think; well - that is what it looked like when I was going out to a restaurant with my brother a few weeks ago. I might go out today to see what I can see and drive by that new shop...

So this may be a very regional reference, but I remember being very conflicted when they converted the Friendly's in Jacksonville, Florida to a large gun store. On the one hand, it always smelled like a truck stop urinal inside, every menu item was 11,000 calories including the soup, and large gun store. On the other hand, the Reese Peanut Butter sundae was a thing of resplendent glory.
Math is tough. Let's go shopping!
I did go with a frozen Strawberry Rhubarb pie from taste of life in Monument. I did pick up a few other items from their store. Good stuff if you happen to be nearby.
Like always the taste of life food seems to be of a very good quality. The only downside I found their version was a bit more strawberry flavor with a lighter touch of Rhubarb. I am use to home made versions that used the rhubarb grown on the farm. This always had a very strong rhubarb flavor; but when served as jam on pancakes it was out of the world.
My next place to try is 3.14 Sweet & Savory Pi - it will be frozen also with a few other things I spotted on their menu.

I have no idea if they have Rhubarb pie, but check out Boonzaaijer's on Fillmore, 'bout a mile East of Shootn' Den on Fillmore:

YOU are the first responder. Police, fire and medical are SECOND responders.
When seconds count, the police are mere minutes away...
Gun registration is gun confiscation in slow motion.

Another +1 for Boonzaaijer's. If you can stand a little bit of a drive, Gooseberry Patch down by Penrose makes great pies.
