I wonder how the continuing snowy and cloudy weather will affect the flight training schedule. We have 7 inches of fresh snow today and it's still coming down.
Hoser needs to drop more water on our mountains. The South Platte River drainage is now at 102% of normal water, but the Colorado River is only at 62%, which portends a very serious water shortage for western Colorado.
Flying today is a CNX. We will be up in the area Wed-Fri and maybe Sat.
You know I like my coffee sweet in the morning
and I'm crazy about my tea at night
I saw an orange #3 today coming out of Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport in Broomfield today. Flew almost over my house headed Northwest. Seemed pretty quiet for how big a plane it is.
Hoser, think you can talk them into practice prairie fire suppression and make a run over southwest Morgan county? Mrs bo volunteered to mow a bullseye target in the hay field.![]()
#2 just went over my house in Castle Rock...I waved

I saw one tonight but couldn't see what number was on the side. Pretty cool!
if you go to Flightradar24.com, you can see the flights in action. At the moment, MAFFS05 is heading up to Ft Collins and MAFFS03 is returning to Broomfield.
Been fly-bys directly over my house this morning. One super low heading south and then again nice and low cooking it back north.
Couple others a bit higher up.
Kids thought the fast low one heading north was amazing.

For those of you with a social media account on Facebook, here is a DOD (Department of Defense video) posted regarding the training. I would guess the link might work even if you do not have a FB account.
