Default 502 New Laws in Colorado

The Sun lists 65 of them.

    https://coloradosun.com/2021/06/14/6...islature-2021/

Lots of government paid abortion, lessening criminal punishment, silly gun laws and of course, more trains.

As many suspected, a wish list of the left.

We are the next domino in the line that is following the path they perfected with CA...

They've been working on getting the majority and slowly pushing things left for decades here.

They took the schools in the 50's/60's, and that was the coup de grace against America.

Man. So many there that I hadn't heard. It's been a full charge into the passage of as much crap as they can possibly stuff in this session, and they will continue to do that for ages.

House Bill 1103: This measure requires that the State Board of Education revise its academic content standards for reading, writing and civics to include media literacy. The Colorado Department of Education would also be required to create an online resource bank on media literacy issues. \

    Wth is media leteracy?

Senate Bill 288: This measure begins Colorado’s process of spending $3.8 billion in federal coronavirus stimulus money. About half of the money was allocated during the recent legislative session and the rest will be distributed by state lawmakers next year. The dollars are being spent on everything from transportation projects to efforts to protect domestic abuse victim.

Ah thank goodness we borrowed so much for all that emergency pandemic money to help the tremendous amounts of domestic violence it caused from people living together, and make better roads for people to gtfo, and just in the nick of time too, right when everyone is in the thick of...er...

Senate Bill 73: This measure eliminates the civil statute of limiations for all future sexual assault victims, giving them unlimited time to sue their abusers.

Anyone know why there is a statute of limitations on things in the first place? Because defense witnesses and evidence doesn't last forever. Sue someone for a "sex assault" 45 years ago, and there is no longer a way for them to defend themselves at all. Civil is a lower standard of evidence to where they can win on just "she said". I'm not a big fan of weaponizing the judicial for sake of a tiny handful of people who didn't shit for two decades when they had access to a pot.
