I typically get up at first light or earlier just as the birds and other wildlife begin their daily activity. Life is so precious and every day must be lived and loved to the fullest. I'm so thankful for my wife, family and friends, for the privilege of living with freedom and prosperity in the USA, and for having a home in natural environments uncrowded by people.

Many here like me are seniors that face increasing challenges and sometimes shocking health issues. As a man I still think and want to do as I did in my twenties and thirties, and I'll never give up trying. I go shooting 2-3 times a week and I can't imagine giving up big game hunting. My grandfather said that a mans home should never be finished so that your work and projects keep you busy.

Great Kazoo, I'm very glad you've fought the good fight to be there and watch the sunrise with your family. I still hope to visit you someday when we can sip a beverage and watch an Arizona sunset.

I was very fortunate to spend many sunrise mornings at the Scout Camp (Peaceful Valley), favorite time to spend with a cup of coffee while most of the camp was still asleep. May you all have many sunrises and sunsets ahead of you !!!
Don't pick a fight with an old man. If he is too old to Fight, he'll just kill you.

Here's a photo of the sunset on Saturday as I was heading north from Brighton to the Fort.
