$3200?!?! That's for the cheap one. Looks like a smooth machine but I don't know if I can swallow that price tag.

Maybe ping the Mile High guys. If anyone in the state had touched one it would be them.

Damn, that is real money, like MP5- when you can get them- money.

Doesn't CMMG have their rotating system as a potential offset to this? AR15 ergos, and MP5/roller-delay impulse/Glock mags, I guess that checks all the boxes. the Glock mags don't look odd like some pistol mag sub guns.

I love my JP AR with the adjustable gas and SC spring system. Silly stupid smooth shooting.

OK, watched the video, I get it. Want. Not need. Opps, thought it was only the old JPish rails, glad to see what looks like a MLOK rail too.

Sounds like they are planning on not being able to sell pistol braced pistols and going with 14.5 pinned barrel.

I'll stop buying black rifles when my wife stops buying black shoes.

You realize MP-5 registered receivers are north of 35 grand, same with sears.

I've A-B'd my MP5 and a CMMG, no comparison. Have not A-B'd the CMMG and a standard blowback AR9.

Have many thousands of rounds on my semi MP5. As much as I like it, the ergos, ability to hang a light/switch/optics and trigger is lacking for sure. If the JP5 shoots similiar to my MP5, will sell the MP5 to fund the JP5.

From the conversation I had with JP last week, the JP5 will be available on their "Rifle Builder" sometime in the future. When that is, who knows.

    Sorry, SP-5.

They mention a side charger, which is always cool- but if you are going to have to have a buffer tube and spring system in the butstock, why not keep the charging handle for pure compatibility. Now, I would not turn down a ‘slap for bolt drop’ function if that were available…
