Where is the go-to for 4wd trail info in Colorado? I used to be a regular on CO4x4.ORG but haven't been on that board in a long time.
I know Bushducks has a user-updated trail status.
My old "go to" was Traildamage.com but last time I checked they hid everything behind a "subscription" paywall.
I figure there's a lot of crossover between shooting and 4 wheeling so I figured I'd ask here.
We're going to be camping near the Taylor Park Reservoir in about 3 weeks and I'm thinking of leading a small group over to Tincup and then maybe over Cumberland Pass to Pitkin. It's one of the few roads/trails in CO I've never been on (I've been over Tincup Pass but not Cumberland.)
All vehicles will be 4wd with low range, mix of full size and mid size (I'll be leading in my 2018 F-150.) We all have decent tires and basic recovery gear (i.e straps and shovels.)
Looking for an easy, fun day trip, nothing "technical." So does Cumberland sound like a good choice? Or are there others in the area we should consider?
Thanks in advance!
