It's sad how reliant we are on skynet...

Why couldn't they use the NWS weather data?

Depends how much they pay, in ransom. Based on anonymous sources, next week.

FAA regulations. They must comply with their operations specifications, which are very rigid.

Default I can't see the mountains for the smoke...

Something is going on. Gunship helicopters buzzing the house. Woke up to a KC-135 loudly over head. Spacex launches national security payload on used booster. Maybe we will see some Apocalyptic events soon?

Southwest stepped in it twice to start the week. Weather computers on Monday and their reservation system was impacted by network issues on Tuesday. Hundreds of flights cancelled and thousands delayed/rescheduled.

I wish technology solved people issues. It seems to just reveal them.

On a good note, Southwest flights are 50% off September and October. I just got a flight to Vegas in October for $150 round trip. Gonna take the 4-day Rifle Marksmanship class at Front Sight.
