The day after I posted the Apache gunship armada flight video over the house, two gunships buzzed the house super low. I wish I had my camera for that pass. Nobody would believe me if I told them the neighborhood is patrolled by helicopter gunships. I think it is just some of the pilots live in this neck of the woods. These birds do not appear on the internet. Link below to see what is flying...usually armed combat craft do not appear on here.

You live in Pueblo? My thought would be they're flying from Carson to the Pinion Canyon training area East of Walsenburg.

When I was stationed at Fort Bragg the barracks I lived in was directly under the flight path from the airfield to the training areas so it wasn't uncommon to have an entire squadron of Apaches flying over at probably 500' AGL. After a while it just blended in with the background noise and honestly, it was a lot less intrusive than when the artillery units were doing their night firing training.

I lived on the flight path of the old McChord AFB when they had C-141s stationed there. You just got used to not talking for a minute until the noise was gone.

Quite a bit of C-17 activity in and out of JBLM.

It is totally because one of your neighbors is an alien. They are just keeping tabs on him.

Keep in mind this is only the aircraft you can hear. There are some overhead right now.

I lived one block east of the back gate for what was then Buckley Air National Guard base, a short drive from the aircraft viewing area. I liked watching the F-16?s play around over us.
Once it became Air Force we started to see a much more transient population in the area. The neighborhood started to go down hill with more crime and just not as clean. We moved north.
Still. I really did like watching the jets flying over.

I don't know why the amount surprises me, but it does.

I remember driving by Buckley a few times when CompUSA use to be out that way.

I live 23 miles from where the helicopters are based. No way am I on the flight path. Maybe I can find a bargain priced house in the Florida Keys?
