I think this 4th of July was the first time in my life, that I didn't see a single firework (heard plenty), kind of depressing but that's what shift work will do to ya.

I've lived here in this neighborhood for 32 years and this was the loudest prolonged at home displays I've ever seen. Started early and didn't let up until well after 1 a.m. I can only imagine what some of these people spent on fireworks this year !!!

Weird. My neighborhood is generally lit up like Baghdad every year but this year I bet the level of activity was was half or less of what it normally is. It was actually a pleasant surprise and I was able to get to sleep at a reasonable time.

We were surprised by lack of firework action last nite. Expected three displays, only saw one and a half. I think couple neighbors took their show on the road.

You may live near me. We had an amazing display this year. Cost was $2000.

Yeah, I work as a dispatcher for my full-time gig and trying to sleep while it sounds like WWIII outside in my neighbors yard tends to piss me off. Like someone already said, some of these people must of dropped BIG $$$ in Cheyenne.

Visited my parents in Los Angeles. Place was a war zone. From 8pm to 1am, constant boom boom. Continual semi pro looking fireworks display. Police did nothing. People must have spent millions.
