That's what the Pennsylvania Supreme Court concluded. He should have never been tried in the first place. Apparently the opportunity for the #METOO court of public opinion conviction was just too much for the new prosecutor.

Yeah. Just sitting on the sidelines of this one with some big sunglasses. Don't care about Cosby, likewise not a fan of the trial by public opinion we are creating which this largely was. So.. Meh. Other things to care about.

No matter how you slice it, his career is over.

It's a measure of the civility in this country that no ones seems to fear constantly pissing off the people who own lots of guns.

    Yeah this pisses me off.

It's not about if Cosby is guilty of the crime or not. Did he do what he was convicted of? I'm pretty darn sure yeah.

This is all about the fact that the corrupt District Attorney violated his constitutional rights. They told him he wouldn't be prosecuted, so that he can't invoke his fifth amendment rights in a civil trial. Then right after he did testify, it was suddenly "Oh wait, yes we are going to prosecute you, and we're using your statements in the civil trial to convict."

Honestly, that DA who made the decision deserves prison time. Honestly in my book, what the DA did was worse than what Cosby did. I don't stand for any corruption by any government official, in my book that should be grounds for immediate execution, I don't care if you're a DA, cop, or a dog catcher.

I remember seeing this episode when i was young and thinking it was sorta creepy. Don't get me wrong, I loved the Cosby Show growing up, but this scene seemed off.

The age restriction is obviously that someone else thought so, too....(It's just the BBQ scene from one of the last few shows)

I believe it’s not the same person. Old DA had settled the issue and new DA went full retard.

I agree that DA deserves prison time.

And 100% it is about Constitutional Rights.

"Fourthly, all presumptive evidence of felony should be admitted cautiously, for the law holds that it is better that ten guilty persons escape than that one innocent suffer. " - William Blackstone, 1769

It is of more importance to the community that innocence should be protected, than it is, that guilt should be punished; for guilt and crimes are so frequent in this world, that all of them cannot be punished....when innocence itself, is brought to the bar and condemned, especially to die, the subject will exclaim, 'it is immaterial to me whether I behave well or ill, for virtue itself is no security.' And if such a sentiment as this were to take hold in the mind of the subject that would be the end of all security whatsoever. - John Adams

If the government can deprave someone like Cosby of his rights, think what the govt can do to you.
