Default NRA Life Membership ***$300.00*** - CLOSED

I had the opportunity earlier this year to sign up several people on THR (25-30) for NRA Life Memberships for only $300.00. Well, the offer is back.

If you're interested in this deal let me know. I'll take care of filling out all paperwork and I'll pay the postage to NRA. I can do 4 names per sheet. As soon as I fill up one sheet, I'll mail it. Turnaround time last time was about 2 weeks from NRA once they received the applications. What I need is a PM with:
    • Your full name as you want it reflected on your membership
    • Your full mailing address
    • Your phone number as you want it reflected on your membership
    • Your email address
    • Your magazine choice: Amer Rifleman, Amer Hunter, America's 1st Freedom
    • I'll need a check for $300 made out to NRA...not to me! I'll PM you the address once I hear from you
I get nothing from this except a stronger NRA. I'm not interested in debating the merits of NRA membership. I am interested in offering a great deal to those who've always wanted to sign up for a life membership but found the $1000 regular price a little out of reach. I can only accept 20 people...that's the limit NRA put on it last time and we (I and a few others who did this on THR) filled the spots quickly.

I'll have this offer on TheHighRoad.org and a few other local forums...first come, first served.

A stronger NRA for one. You get to vote for board members. Other than that...just knowing you're supporting the strongest gun lobby in DC. I'm not saying the NRA lobbies...that would be the NRA/ILA. But there is strength in numbers when they go to the pols on legislation. And at $300, it's way cheaper than paying an annual membership at $35 per year.

Yeah I have been a member for a few years now.
With the reduced price do you still get a plaque and card and don't they usually give you some nick nacks as well?

Will they stop sending me mail that says I need to, or they want me to renew me membership?

    bczandm...

No...I get nothing from the NRA. Zip. Nada. With the exception that has been mentioned of a stronger organization with more members. That's it.

Life members (I'm a Benefactor Life Member) occasionally get offers to sign up family members for $300.00. This is one of those offers. However, NRA allows lots of leeway on signing up new members. If they get the info and a check they'll honor the deal even if it's not really a family member. There's a thread on www.thehighroad.org under General Discussion about this, too. The last time me and a few other guys did this on THR there was a tremendous response. I signed up about 25-30 people before the NRA membership office said they'd like us to keep it to about 20.

Sniper...I don't know if they're offering incentives on this deal or not. It doesn't say in the paperwork. As for the junk mail, there's a link on the membership site that allows you to opt out of the bulk of the mailings. I get something maybe once a month, if that.

The big benefit is the cost. Basically it's a 70% discount off the normal $1000 price of a life membership. There are probably 80 million to 100 million gun owners in the US. If only 15 or 20 percent were members that would truly be a force to be reckoned with.

Thanks for your efforts. It's good to see the NRA support.

Even with the short comings of the NRA, it's the best thing we have going. They don't support my machinegun ownership, but I am still a life member. What is a "benefactor" member?

Baily guns, just out of curiosity, do you get money or incentives back from the NRA for those who join?
