I really want a lever action 357 but I want to get a 4in gp100 first.

I had the 5" that I had polished and tuned. That's the gun I regret selling the most.

I have a 6" GP100 and a 16" Marlin.

I really want a 4" now, just to round out the stable. Thinking about a Korth Mongoose.

And a stainless Vaquero in 4 3/4.

I have 50 freshly loaded Hornady 158gr XTP's sitting on 15 grains of H110. Should be good for around 1400 fps out of the Ruger.

Got the Python to the range for the first time and what a shooter. Double action pull is great, but single action needs some work. Supposedly they had to make it heavy to pass required drop tests while cocked. Can?t wait to see what I can do with it once the action tune is done. It shot everything very well, from 125 grain .38 Special to 185 grain hard cast gas checked thumpers. I?ve owned a few dozen .357s over the years and this one is the most accurate I have shot. These were shot offhand at 10 yards.
