I am somewhat annoyed that the National Pork Producers Council is asking for federal money to comply with CA's edicts. They ought to just jack up prices for CA-destined pork products. Why does the rest of the country always have to pay for CA's idiocy? They will keep passing intrustive "feel good" legislation as long as they don't perceive the price of that legislation.

Cali has a bunch of BS food laws. Becuase of Cali rules on milk, all milk produced for California has to be made with more solids than there are in milk naturally. I have no clue how california gets away with such bs laws.
