My parents probably let me watch too much news as a kid- I was eight when this occurred, and definitely remember the stories about the event. Glad it has been solved. Too bad he can't be appropriately punished for what he did to 7 year old Melissa Bennett, followed by his own "hammer time". I suspect another guilty verdict in the upcoming October for his other local victim.

It was all the talk in my neighborhood.

The killer entered through the garage. Everyone used to leave their doors open and unlocked. After that, the big doors were closed and the man doors locked.

In high school, we used to drive past that house during lunch. It was vacant for years.

very reason why judge should be Lenient 5-10% of time served for criminals who turn themselves in and confess.

(so, 100 year sentenced to 90-95 year sentenced)
