Keep thinking that. These last 3 years have been some of the busiest for me. I don't have a job, however between volunteering at a few different places, and various projects. It seems like there's not enough time some days.

The up side, is you're not on the clock for your own projects.

Speaking of ammo prices, I know price-per-round is more accurate but I always think in terms of price-per-box (assuming the standard of 50 rnds/box for pistol ammo and 20 rnds/box for rifle ammo.) It makes it easier for me to figure whether prices have gone up or down if I can think of it in terms of "per box."

So, before the Great Ammo Panic of 2020, "low end" 9mm (non reloadable Berdan-primed steel cased Russian ammo, either Tula or Brown/Silver bear) was around $8 - $9/box, and boxer-primed brass "range" ammo typically started around $12 - $14/box (these prices had been relatively stable since I started buying ammo online around 2010 or so, except for the 2012 - 2014 post Sandy Hook ammo panic.)

Those numbers have been my "baseline" for calculating the change in ammo prices. I'm not really in the market (haven't been doing much shooting at all these past few years) but I'm idly curious to know what people are paying for 9mm, if they don't mind sharing the info.
Prior to this mess, I was buying Fiocchi 115gr fmj for 180 a case (1000) delivered.

At the gun show a couple of weeks ago, I bought a case (1000rnds) of Federal HST 124+P for $500. I followed up with a case of the 147 HST for the same price. I reload so I don't keep track of FMJ prices.

Any member reviews on their ammo? I am considering picking some up at their shop since it is close. Looking at mostly auto pistol calibers.

I haven't tried it yet. It looks good.

Not a lot on the shelf when I've been there.

I finally went down there for a looky, didn't tour the mfg building, just the gun shop. Don't really need anything, basically just taking the dog for a ride - but I DID score a used Frankford Arsenal F.A.R.T. brass wet tumbler, and two used FA Brass Dryers! All in great shape and work perfectly, and at GREAT PRICES! So now I have two of those tumblers and three of the dryers!

I bought 3 boxes of their 9mm ammo last spring only one FTE. So I bought 1000 from one of their flash sales for an exceptional price on 7/29. Was originally told 3-4 week delivery. Called twice to see how my order was going. was told both times it would be out the following week which didn't happen. During this time they were still running their "Flash Sales" I asked why, A couple of weeks ago I finally stopped getting their sale email's. I called today (8 weeks later) 9/23/22 and canceled my order.

Not a good sign, and also a pattern that is seen with companies that are about to split with awaiting customer's money.

Do they wait to charge you until it ships?

All too often, companies that run continuous "flash sales" like that and take payment upfront while they can't ship are running ponzi schemes. Trying to front load with cash and never catch up. They need to keep taking new orders in order to pay for raw materials to produce their backorders. Good idea cancelling your order.

    Subscribed to this thread.

They charged my cc the day of order and this was included with my emailed receipt I received on the same day:

Thank you for your order! Below is a summary for your records. All orders are shipping 3-4 weeks from the date of purchase. We are unable to move orders into the processing stage on our website, you will not see any order updates until your order ships. Once your order ships you will receive an email with your UPS Ground tracking number. If you selected for your order to be picked up, it will be ready at the date and time listed below.
