Maybe it is a new series, I am sure there is probably 2 years worth of footage watching 24 hours a day!
I am not sure, I just know I have been watching them whenever I get a chance

The Smithsonian Channel has a series "Apocalypse - The Second World War" that has some great footage I had not seen before - and I have watched a TON of WWII stuff. - Great series...

At one time I planned to read the wikipedia page for WWI and WWII as a general refresher course. I only made it about 1/4 of the way through WWI. This program sounds like the much more entertaining way to go.

The one I'm talking about was first out in 1973 with Laurance Olivier narrating.. 26 eipsodes..

I had heard a rumor that they were going to "update" with recently uncovered footage. But, that was around the time that Time/Life came out with the one they had a couple of years ago.

Yes much better,, At least 6 years condensed into 26 hours..

Another good one is Victory at Sea. That one rarely gets played though.. I have seen it at Best Buy from time to time,, But they are waaaaaay proud of that one... in other words, I coudln't afford it...

    Default Sticky thread idea

We need a "Library sticky thread" where we can share videos and books...
