    Default Firemission for the Wife...

Wife loves old British comedies. She's never seen nor heard of Fawlty Towers. So Firemission requested for BigBear's Wife on Co-AR15!!!

    Background:
Fawtly Towers is an old British comedy featuring John Cleese (Monty Python guy). It only ran for a season or two I believe on BBC in the mid 70's.

    Recon:
My Google-fu is not up to par, no knowledge available. Can only locate DVD box sets in UK. Not listed in USD$

    Mission:
Locate DVD box set of all Fawlty Towers in the USA for purchase. Links would be appreciated.

    ETA for completion:
    ASAP

    Additional Information:
    Please request

    Loadout:
    Pick your own.

That is all, dismissed. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I see it in Borders and Barnes & Noble all the time. I don't know what it's like where you are, but both stores near me have a British TV section. Probably way overpriced as all their dvds are.

Good call though. "You can see the sea: it's over there, between the land and the sky."

Anybody else remember seeing The Goodies? I have only seen a couple DVD's of their show. If I remember correctly, they ran in the '70's. I remember watching what I thought was reruns (maybe not, don't know) when I got home from school when I was in Jr High around '80. And there was Benny Hill, of course.

    The Two Ronnies
The best 'Carry On' movies are the ones with Sid James etc.
Ronnie Barker also did a show where he was a store owner - Open all Hours

Yeah, $32 kinda more than I was hoping... I'll check out the local Best Buy etc. Thanks for the help. I'll definitely look into the Carry On movies as well.

A friend has the old show "Keeping up Appearances" that we have been watching. Hilarious stuff.
