Here's what ticks me off. Biden at a press conference was asked if he takes "accountability" for what has unfolded in recent weeks in Afghanistan. Biden stated, "I bear responsibility for fundamentally all that's happened...of late, but here's the deal, you know I wish you one day say these things. You know as well as I do that former president made a deal with the Taliban that we get all American forces out of Afghanistan by May 1."

So he admits responsibility, then proceeds to blame former President Trump. (Typical Progressive Leftist behavior). I have a former friend of mine who became a huge Biden supporter in the last few years. He keeps complaining that this wouldn't of unfolded had President Trump made the deal with the Taliban to begin with. Such BS. I'm surprised President Trump was able to get as much done as he did in 4 years considering all the crap he had to deal with from Pelosi. Biden's administration had to be 100% aware of Trump's deal with the Taliban. Immediately after that dimwit taking office, they should've been talking with the Taliban about extending the deadline if need be. Trump negotiated peace wit the Taliban to keep their guns pointed away from U.S. forces so we could safely evacuate from that shit hole. Had Trump gotten re-elected, I don't doubt he would've had our troops, U.S. citizens and allies out of there by the deadline. The deaths of my fellow Marines and Corpsman are on Biden and his administration's hands.

The Biden admin is friends with the Taliban. They said they had the same goals. That the US is relying on the Taliban. Over and over again they said those two things. What do those two things sound like??? There's a word for groups with that relationship, allies. F'n allies.

The difference between Trump's dealings with the Taliban and the Biden admin's is Trump still saw them as enemies and treated them as such. Biden is treating them as allies. That's how this got fubared, treating terrorists as allies.

Meanwhile, back here, people who don't want a pissant shot they don't need are being labeled and treated as terrorists.

When a gov makes its own people it's enemy, the gov becomes the enemy of the people. That's where we are. Right now.

We know some of it is still working as the Talies are happy to post video of them using some of it. I get that we were providing equipment to the Afghan army and I dont know the status of the transfer, but they up and disappeared a while ago. As soon as they jumped and we understood that they would not be in control of this stuff, men should have been tasked to use the leftover demolitions to render it all out of service. Oversight or simply there were more important things to do.

Where's your evidence of that. Or is it just unfounded opinion?

Well, in theory this wouldn't happen, because it'd require a majority vote in both houses to select a new VP, and so if the R's in the Senate held strong, no such person could win a majority vote (as there'd be no VP to break a tie).

    One question:

What ever happened to "We don't negotiate with terrorists."

Maybe you missed where I said "I would put money on...". Part of this is from my time managing equipment fleets and arguing with accounting about what is supposed to be on an inventory list and what isnt. Part of it is simply seeing vids of whatever in afghan showing helos with destroyed windscreens and other vehicles non-op. Part of it is knowing the graphic was created by biden's enemies to make him look as bad as possible. Part of it is knowing this equipment has been in the "desert" (harsh enviro of Afgahn) for years, and equipment depreciates quick in those conditions. Part is just reasonable intuition and logical thinking.

Its a easy fix, recategorize terrorists into government partners or allies.
