question on licensing a diesel pickup in Colorado/Weld County

Got the emissions done today, passed with flying colors.

Can?t believe I will have to get it done every year though.

As a recent diesel convert, this drives me crazy too.

It should be every other year based on the vehicles model year. But the first time you might get hit twice in a row

It appears they require light duty diesel trucks to be done every year now. It is probably to try and get the guys that delete their trucks. (more like make it more of a hassle to restore the emissions every year)

Do your part to make sure thieves don't get it. That year of GM and the same years of powerstrokes are notorious for being stolen. If you join the Rocky Mountain Diesel Crew FB group, you'll see at least two trucks a week that are stolen in that body style of GM and Powerstrokes. You know where I live and my BIL's brother is a detective for Evans PD. He said the neighborhood I am in, is the #1 hot spot for stolen vehicles.
