The female detective had her 320 in a Blackhawk Serpa holster in her purse. Most LE agencies have banned the use of that particular holster due to its own issues, but I've watched video of an unknown state trooper getting out of his patrol vehicle in full uniform with duty belt and the pistol firing as he stood. Very strange indeed and worrisome.

I initially thought the people who died in Toyota Prius' must have just been bad drivers, until it kept happening and Toyota had to do something about it.

ABC is covering this and I can only see ABCs investigative side of the story.
They said even ones that are upgraded is having a same issue?
I have two P320 and one is my carry piece.
Maybe she lubricated the area which she was not suppose to (according to manual)?
Does that perhapse possibly make it discharge the firearm?

If lubrication protocol violations can cause autofiring in a modern, new production firearm, the whole lot needs to be recalled and crushed.

The manual is stating that lubrication can lead to the pistol not firing. Wouldn't this actually make it "safer"?

    R.I.F.

The whole thread is like a bad game of telephone.

I have a P320 but it's strictly a truck gun. Never liked the way the slide shifted up when the trigger is pulled.

The P365 does not exhibit that tendency.
    My Feedback

I have a P320. It's from before the voluntary "upgrade" to fix the initial accidental firing problems. I sent mine in for the upgrade. Can't say I know what they changed. But I put some snap caps in it and gave it a bunch of drops and smacks when it came back to see if it would drop the striker. It didn't.

I've used it A LOT. I like it. But add me to the list of people who's P320 hasn't fired while holstered.

That is what I thought too ,and purchased X series and Legion.
it has flat trigger and legion have flat skeletonozied.

I really like the P320 X compact and I just hope it is those previous one that has issues.
