Well, 91/30's are easy to find and cheap, and are usually in pretty good condition. Lately most come with the big pigsticker included. You can get aftermarket stocks from outfits like Choate, and possibly even Boyds (I'd have to check on that one). Ammo is reasonably easy to find, you can still find surplus at the gunshows and through distributors like AIM surplus and J&G. It's also available from Norma, Prvi Partisan, and a couple other mfgs. Difference between the models is usually barrel/stock length, type of bayonet mount (permanent like the M44 or takeoff like the 91 and 91/30), and maybe sights as the Finns captured loads of these and converted them to their own patterns. The Finns are the best of the bunch, and the best of those was the M39 but they're harder to find now and more expensive. The actions are all the same, triggers all the same. I think someone is making an aftermarket trigger for them, I think I saw one in either Brownells or MidwayUSA. A lot of times you can find the 91/30's at Big 5, and sometimes they'll have sales for around $100. You can find them at the gunshows easily, too.
