Feel like getting the guy's contact info and texting "I'm interested in the bike . . . but the wife says I can only go as high as $5,500."
But yeah. For sure you guys had a deal, and while this is his legal right to do, it is wrong.
With that said, if you would have bought the bike at $6500?, I would just bite my lip and finish the deal.
