First off I'll say that what occurred was totally inexcusable, but...

You say that you don't see how it isn't 100% accurate then you are buying into the propaganda. No one was trying to prevent that girl or anyone from going to school; they were trying to prevent that girl and many others from going to that particular school. They were trying to keep people of color from integrating into a formerly white only school. Had that girl and any of the other students of color tried going to the segregated schools no one would have tried to stop them. THAT is why that meme isn't 100% accurate. Again, the actions to attempt to prevent students of any color from integrating into any school were disgraceful but you often like to point out inaccuracies in other members posts so I'm doing you the same favor.
