Arrested in Wyoming for not registering firearms?

Does anybody know what this is? I have guns given to me by family over the years, Do I have to register them?

Cheyenne Felon Arrested on Federal Firearm Charges
United States Attorney Bob Murray announced today that ANTHONY PIERCE UNOCIC, age 52, of Cheyenne, Wyoming was arrested on a complaint and later indicted for being a felon in possession of firearms and ammunition and for possession of a firearm not registered in the National Firearms Registration and Transfer Record.

Unocic appeared before Federal District Court Chief Magistrate Judge Kelly H. Rankin on November 22, 2021, for an arraignment hearing and pleaded not guilty. Unocic was remanded to the custody of the United States Marshals Service, and a jury trial has been set for January 24, 2022, before Federal District Court Chief Judge Alan B. Johnson. These crimes carry a term of up to 40 years imprisonment, up to six years of supervised release, and up to $1 million in fines and $200 in special assessments.

This crime was investigated by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms, Homeland Security Investigations, and the United States Postal Inspection Service. The case is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Michael J. Elmore.

An indictment merely contains allegations, and every defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.

These are Federal charges. I'll echo the above and say from the way the statement is written the arrestee was likely in possession of an NFA covered firearm (SBS, SBR, MG, silencer or DD.)

Being a felon (druggie is my guess) I'd say SBS or SBR, i.e a "sawed off" weapon.

a Homeland Security agent was notified by the U.S. Customs and Border Facility of an intercepted shipment bound for Cheyenne from China that was found to contain a suspected firearm suppressor.

The package was intended for ?Tony Piece,? and the Homeland Security agent directed that the shipment be forwarded to him. The agent also looked into the buyer?s phone number and found that it belonged to Unocic.

The agent also found that the actual resident and owner of the home the package was sent to was a convicted felon and sex offender

Unocic was not allowed to own a firearm due to a 2017 felony conviction for possession of explosive/incendiary parts, for which he served three years in prison in Colorado
