This was pointed out on a WA gun forum tonight. The wife and I watched it. Just another example that makes one question the dogma pushed by our government that has conflicting interests/priorities.

Thanks for posting that, I finally watched the whole film this morning. Mrs. Hummer had sent me the link a few times over the past year but I never watched it through. Thankfully, she and I adopted the tenets of the Keto low carb diet and intermittent fasting and are much healthier having lost a great deal of weight since February. Taking the weight off our backs has been a great relief. I went from eating compulsively with constant insulin spikes throughout the day to having real control over my eating.

For anyone and especially those who are overweight as I was this could be the most important film you could watch. It paints a striking picture of scientific incompetence in the medical field, the U.S. government health guidelines, the American Heart Association and the processed food industry. It amounts to a conspiracy that has killed tens of millions of Americans over the past 60 years.

Changing how we eat: I tried the Keto Diet, on my Chiropractor's recommendation. My (Norwegian) wife was fine with it; I couldn't handle it. (My body doesn't like THAT high a high-fat diet.)

After much research, we’ve been on the Paleolithic Diet for two months. (Think of Paleo as a toned-down Keto plan.) I have lost 7 pounds. My wife is getting “Oh wow!” comments from her hair dresser, who sees her only every five weeks.)

I am a believer. And you don't have to join some, "We'll send you your [processed!] food organization to eat healthfully!

In line with the Fat Fiction video, the move from animal fats to vegetable fats for cooking is probably why we have heart disease in any serious numbers to begin with (and note that it was Proctor & Gamble that first bankrolled the American Heart Assn just to get them to badmouth lard and tallow so people would buy their new wonder product; Crisco).
