Congrats- the Eastern part of the state is God's Country. I work in OK every other week and I'm in OKC right now. That whole area you are in, all the way down down towards Durant, is nice country.

Now, that is a total surprise to me, but NOAA confirms it.
I participated in the National Hail Research Experiment, NHRE, in the 70's as a weather researcher for NOAA.
I saw one set of clouds drop 5 funnel clouds that didn't touch down, but it sure impressed me.
The location was North Eastern Colorado and we were centered in Grover and New Raymer - chased hail storms all summer.

Good luck! Looks great. Post photos of the pistols berms when you finish them

We've been moved in and working non-stop on the new place for a little over 2 months. Absolutely love it here. It's quiet and peaceful and we are thrilled with the property. Just about ready to start a little hobby farm with some goats, chickens, guineas and contemplating a cow or two. I'm just not sure I could eat my own cow...it would be like eating my dog. I know I'd get attached to them.

Here's the before and after of the kitchen/dining room remodel. Almost finished...just waiting for the moulding board (on order) to finish above the cabinets and we're trying to decide what type of light fixture we want above the island. We did everything ourselves except for the countertop install.

ETA: Also need to run a gas line so I can get rid of that damn electric range.

I built this little wall to make a bit of a divide between the kitchen and living room without entirely closing off the space. Need the gas line for the fireplace, too.

Blanco silgranit sink? We love ours.

Tip: Rub some mineral oil on it and buff with a microfiber if it gets spotty. Makes it look brand new again.

    My Feedback
Credit TFOGGER : Liberals only want things to be "fair and just" if it benefits them.
Credit Zundfolge: The left only supports two "rights"; Buggery and Infanticide.
Credit roberth: List of things Government does best; 1. Steal your money 2. Steal your time 3. Waste the money they stole from you. 4. Waste your time making you ask permission for things you have a natural right to own. "Anyone that thinks the communists won't turn off your power for being on COAR15 is a fucking moron."

To be honest, I don't know the brand of the sink...but that looks just like it. We've only had it for a week. And we've only had water hooked up to it since last night. Everything we needed parts wise finally came in. So far, though, it's fantastic and looks great. Thanks for the tip. Our water seems to spot pretty badly so that'll come in handy.

Don't get me wrong...I love how cows taste and I don't have a problem eatin' 'em. I just don't think I could eat my own...

My neighbor has about 10 or 12 head with a couple of calves and they graze in a pasture that adjoins mine. The Corgis love to go into his pasture and try to herd them. The cows pretty much ignore them. They'll come up to me for a scratch on the snout if I go stand by the fence for a while.
